Blossom haiku

I wrote this haiku in August 2008 while enjoying an excellent meal at Blossom on Columbus Avenue, between 82nd and 83rd, near the Natural History Museum.

Hungry to be nourished:
Salt, sweet, tang.
Replete, too soon a memory.
